Jordans Story

From being a young boy, like a lot of young players, my only vision in life was to be a professional footballer. Each young player starts here, playing grassroots or county football while we learn the trade of the game and expressing ourselves on the football pitch with the intention of being scouted by a professional club and play for their academy.
Playing grassroots and country football I trained just once or twice a week with matches on a Saturday or Sunday, I developed and went on to having trails with Everton, Birmingham City, Leicester City and West Bromwich Albion. At each club I trained three nights a week and played matches on a Saturday. After these trials I went on to sign my first contract with Coventry City at the age of 11 where I played alongside current premiership and championship players - Leicester City's James Maddison, Southampton's Che Adams and Swansea's Courtney Baker-Richardson.
However, at the start of my journey with Coventry City I began to realise that the other players were of a noticeably higher standard to me due to the high level of training they had received. Once I found my feet, I was training to the best of my ability and developed into one of the best players in my age group.
Once reaching the age of 19, I became an FA qualified coach. After working at a and multi-sports group for a number of years, I found that working with children and young players was something that felt quite natural.
My experience in the professional game motivates me to inspire young unfound talent who find themselves in the same position as I did. I offer more than just skills based coaching, by providing a platform for my players to be inspired and feel motivated to achieve their dreams when they complete my training sessions.
